MorningReadings -(Is 14:24-32;Gn 8:21-9:7;Prv11:19-12:6)Revelation 21:1 “New Heaven & New Earth”

Welcome back . Great is His faithfulness.

NOTE: Greek Word of the day- κατείδωλος kateídōlos, kat-i'-do-los; from G2596 (intensively) and G1497; utterly idolatrous:—wholly given to idolatry.

Acts 17:16: Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was provoked within him when he saw that the city was given over to idols

First Reading from Isaiah 14:24-32

In v. 32 we see how God accomplishes all these things throughout history to show THE NATIONS that ZION, which is symbolic of the Church, which has been established by the God of Israel as a place where THE HUMBLE OF HIS PEOPLE SHALL BE SAVED.

Second Reading from Genesis 8:21-9:7

For Genesis 8:22- a good NT source for this see Hebrews 13:10, 15. The Church, likewise to Noah, has an altar on which SHE offers the sweet aroma of praise and thanksgiving to the Lord.

Genesis 8:22- led me to breakdown Revelation 21:1- according to Genesis 8:22, the earth will remain with its regular cycles until the new heaven and new earth come.

Genesis 9:1- God not only remembered Noah (Genesis 8:1), He also blessed him. The scriptures speak of how remembrance is salvation. Psalm 23 (24):5: He shall receive blessing from the Lord,

And righteousness from the God of his salvation.

Third Reading Proverbs 11:19-12:6

"The riches of Righteousness"

At the end of our study I broke down Revelation 21:1:All Things Made New

21 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.

The NT TEACHING is that the present world will pass away - (sources I read this morning see my video, Matthew 5:18; Mark 13:31; 1 Corinthians 7:31; 2 Peter 3:10-13; 1 John 2:17). This is saying that the present world will not be utterly destroyed. Instead it will be totally renewed- (Revelation 5:9; Revelation 21:5; and Isaiah 65:17-25; Romans 8:19-22; 2 Corinthians 5:17; 2 Peter 3:13): we will be freed from corruption, purified, transfigured, and glorified living in our glorified bodies. The first cosmos will indeed past away.

Numbers 6:24-26

“The Lord bless you and keep you;

25 The Lord make His face shine upon you,

And be gracious to you;

26 The Lord [a]lift up His countenance upon you,

And give you peace.” ’
