Good morning … Great is His faithfulness

“OVERCOMING TOUGH TIMES”

"How can one learn to endure if one has never been tested … Our faith is all about the test and all about the hardships which produce patience … Discipline is the key and three ingredients to discipline is obedience, self-denial and struggle without these no ministry of any sort can survive … Our survival is determined by how we respond to our trials and tribulations our life afflictions which are the world's oppression … We must learn to respond in a way of mercy, compassion and kindness, if we allow ourselves to respond in a negative way we get negative in return" …

Chapter 3 “No Problems are too big for God”

Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.”

(Genesis 18:14 – NKJV)

The Lord speaks of God the Father, who does not will everything He can do, but He can do everything He wills … For nothing impossible with Him … Likewise, nothing is impossible with His Son, for the Father works all things through the Son … As St. Athanasius the Great said, “He is the Will of the Father …” So, the Son would strengthen Abraham and Sarah, and Sarah would conceive and bear Isaac, the child of promise …

Psalm 31:24

Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the Lord.

“I gather my courage from my prayer life and my daily studies” …

Psalm 34:19

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.

“Afflictions are temporary and the Lord will always deliver us from them all, and it doesn’t matter the good, the bad, and the ugly – (my definition of ugly is “Chaos”)” …

James 1:3-4

knowing that the testing of your faith produces [a]patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be [b]perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

“Trials, the world’s oppression, and according to the Orthodox study Bible they take place by God’s permission … Or issues are not the trials, but our responses to them … Meaning sometimes the emotions we may feel in a situation may be normal, but sometimes we may respond to those emotions in way that may not be normal … This is a good remainder for us all to work on is how we may respond to our emotions do we respond positively or do we respond negatively???"

(additional readings Matthew 11:28-30 – Jesus’ yoke; Isaiah 43:2-3 – Christ will pass through every affliction with us – John 10:9-16, Hebrews 13:7-16, Matthew 5:14-19)

“The Grace of God is sufficient for all our needs, for every problem and for every difficulty, for every broken heart, and for every human sorrow …”

- Peter Marshall

Numbers 6:24-26

“The Lord bless you and keep you; 25 The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; 26 The Lord [a]lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” ’

In Christ love – Jared W Campbell

"Never give up and never hold back my brothers and sisters in Christ we are in a spiritual war we seek Him and His Wisdom and ways, we are to be in this world but not of this world because our citizenship is indeed heavenly … As Christians we are to adapt to this world, but not to compromise our faith to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, do not worry about what you can't control instead focus on what you can control … The time is now to get right with Christ it will be more difficult moving forward if you continue to reject His calling for you …
