Good morning, my brothers and sisters in Christ.
Amid life's storms, we find solace in the timeless promises of Scripture, echoing through the ages to guide us in our journey of faith and mindfulness. Psalm 46:1- 3 reminds us that God is our refuge, strength, and ever-present trouble. As we face the turbulent waters and fiery trials of life, Isaiah 43:2-3a assures us of God's unwavering presence and protection, declaring, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you."
In our quest for mindfulness and a more profound connection with God, we recognize our human frailty and the battles we face within ourselves. Like the psalmist, we may wrestle with moments of anxiety and self-doubt, becoming our own worst enemies at times. Yet, even in the agony of these struggles, we cling to the truth that God is our protector and provider, never failing us in our time of need.
For those who grapple with the effects of PTSD, navigating through both the good and bad days, the journey toward healing and wholeness can be demanding. However, today marks a new chapter—a deliberate focus on mindfulness, nurturing our relationship with Christ, and a deepened reliance on God's unfailing strength during life's rowdy times.
As we gaze heavenward and become overpowered with prayer, the discipline of fasting, and the transformative act of almsgiving. These spiritual disciplines anchor us in faith, drawing us closer to God and cultivating a heart of compassion and generosity toward others.
May this upcoming week be a season of renewal and spiritual growth as we embrace the challenges with courage, trust in God's provision, and find peace during life's storms.
- Shabbat Shalom!!!
In Christ, love Jared W. Campbell
