DAY TWENTY SIX: “God’s Initiatives” (Genesis 12:1)

Good morning. Great is His faithfulness.


GOD's INITIATIVES


Genesis 12:1


Now the Lord had said to Abram:

“Get out of your country,From your familyAnd from your father’s house,To a land that I will show you.


"The Lord may be initiating some new things in your life. When He tells you what His plans are, trust Him and walk closely with Him. Don't let the busyness of your present activity keep you from experiencing all that God has in store for you. You will see Him accomplish things through your life that you never dreamed were possible (see also Ephesians 3:20)." (Experiencing God Day by Day, devotional page 202).


It was through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit that led Moses to write v. 1 in Genesis 12:1.


Numbers 6:24-26

“The Lord bless you and keep you;


25 The Lord make His face shine upon you,


And be gracious to you;


26 The Lord [a]lift up His countenance upon you,


And give you peace.” ’
