DAY TWENTY NINE- “Displaying God in Your Life” (Philippians 2:12-13)- “Strive for Obedience”

Good morning. Great is His faithfulness.


"DISPLAYING GOD IN YOUR LIFE"


Philippians 2:12-13


Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.


Therefore, because of Christ's sacrifice, we are called to take hold of what God offers, we do this by accepting His grace and working towards being mature in Christ. See the cooperation - we "WORK OUT OUR OWN SALVATION" (v. 12), and it is God who works in us to do His will (v. 13).


"When you see God developing an area of your life, join Him in His activity so that His salvation will be demonstrated fully." (Experiencing God Day by Day devotional, page 205).


Numbers 6:24-26

“The Lord bless you and keep you;


25 The Lord make His face shine upon you,


And be gracious to you;


26 The Lord [a]lift up His countenance upon you,


And give you peace.” ’
